Data stewards fill essential roles in managing data assets. They serve as leaders, managers, facilitators, problem solvers, and coaches to ensure that data is accessible, usable, protected, and trustworthy. Data strategy, data governance, data quality, data definition, and metadata management are among the important activities where data stewards are essential. To be effective, they must understand how data is created, stored, manipulated, and used. Acting as a bridge between business and technical stakeholders in data management requires knowledge of both domains.

The objective of this online course is to build a foundation of knowledge that is needed to succeed as a data steward. Make the playback speed available. Some sections could go alot quicker and also gives the learner some control to take more/less time depending on the familiarity with the material. It could be more interactive or animated just for some variation.

Sometimes, the information that appears in the slides appear at the end and even though they are reading the information you cannot read it along. Some slides did not have audio and it was notable that they meant to have cause you could not understand the meaning.
