The
CDS Package offers education for Data Stewards capped off with the Certified Data Steward (CDS) designation. The CDS credential makes a clear statement that you have learned from the industry leaders and have demonstrated an understanding of the fundamentals of data stewardship, data quality, data governance, metadata management, and master data management by passing several challenging exams.
The
CDS Package includes four online training courses from our Data Stewardship curriculum, providing 20 hours of in-depth education from world-class instructors. In order to meet CDS requirements, you must complete Data Stewardship Fundamentals, two other core courses, and 1 elective from the CDS curriculum.

Each course helps you prepare for a corresponding online exam. You are allowed three attempts to pass each exam. Upon passing the exam you will earn CDS credit. The exams also count towards
Certified Information Management Professional (CIMP) designation. You have 24 months to complete your education. See CDS Rulebook for more details.
The cost of the
CDS 4-Credit Package is 25% or more below the total cost of purchasing individual courses and exams.
