Every business professional is both a creator and a consumer of data. The prevalence of data makes data literacy an essential skill set for all business professionals. Data literacy is the ability to understand, find meaning, interpret, and communicate with data. A data-literate individual has a working knowledge of where data comes from, how it is organized, how it is managed, and how it is used.

Data literacy doesn’t require that every knowledge worker must become deeply technical – only that they have a practical understanding of the terminology, concepts, and practices needed to weave data into their day-to-day activities. This course is designed to provide the fundamental knowledge that is the foundation of data literacy.
