Information Management (IM) is a broad and diverse field that encompasses many different disciplines and practices. Effective information management comprises a continuum of people, process, and technical dimensions that range from data collection to decision-making. Considering information in all of its forms from raw data to business analytics, information management practices address architecture, governance, quality, modeling, integration, transformation, visualization, and much more.
CIMP - Information Management Foundations specialization builds upon education to certify knowledge and understanding of fundamental IM concepts and solutions demonstrated by passing several challenging exams. Each exam is aligned with the material in one of the courses in eLearningCurve's IM Foundations curriculum taught by industry leaders, such as Andy Hayler, Theresa Kushner, Mark Peco, Maria Villar, and Dave Wells.
To obtain CIMP - IM Foundations designation you must pass 5 exams: Information Management Fundamentals exam, 3 other exams within the IM Foundations track, and one additional exam from any CIMP track. You are allowed three attempts to achieve a passing score on each exam. Each attempt, however, will present you with a different set of questions than previous attempts.
To start the process, submit CIMP IM Foundations Application. The cost of application is $150. Please also see our CIMP IM Foundations Package, which includes everything you need to complete your certification at a package-price savings!
