Data quality has been an issue since the dawn of the IT profession and becomes increasingly challenging as the volumes of data increase and the uses for data expand. Today we see data quality emerging as a profession. The need has become so intense that companies are seeking data quality specialists who know how to identify measure, manage, fix, and prevent data quality problems. The data quality body of knowledge encompasses a broad range of topics that involve people, process, and technology dimensions.
CIMP - Data Quality specialization builds upon education to certify knowledge and understanding of data quality problems and solutions demonstrated by passing several challenging exams. Each exam is aligned with the material in one of the courses in eLearningCurve's Data Quality curriculum taught by industry leaders, such as Mike Brackett, Arkady Maydanchik, and Dave Wells.
To obtain CIMP - Data Quality designation you must pass 5 exams: Data Quality Fundamentals exam, 3 other exams within the Data Quality track, and one additional exam from any CIMP track. You are allowed three attempts to achieve a passing score on each exam. Each attempt, however, will present you with a different set of questions than previous attempts.
To start the process, submit CIMP Data Quality Application. The cost of application is $150. Please also see our CIMP Data Quality Package, which includes everything you need to complete your certification at a package-price savings!
